Menswear Inspired OOTD

Hey guys,

Well I know I haven’t posted an outfit post in ages and I decided that it was time. It’s sunny today and I took the opportunity. This look I decided to put together because of being inspired by Sofia Vergara’s instagram photo where she was walking in New York with heels and a pair of jeans. I decide to go for that whole look but add my twist to it and instead of making it really feminine with a tank top etc. I decided to put on a shirt, blazer and a long coat. This look is almost all from Zara by the way. My shirt, blazer, coat and boots are from Zara. The jeans are from Calvin Klein which I found in TK Maxx and the necklace is from H&M. IMG_3680 IMG_3688 IMG_3683

I decided to add a bit of colour with the lipstick and I went for my trusty YSL orangey-red lippy in number 13. I went very minimal with the make up and only used my Nars tinted moisturiser and a rustic brown eyeshadow, Uninterrupted, from MAC. To conceal my under eyes I used two brilliant Bobbi Brown products, one which I have already reviewed (here) and the other I will review soon with my Bobbi Brown BB cream. They are the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Porcelain Peach and the Creamy Concealer with powder in Sand. Before I put all that on I used the Nuxe samples I got in the ITWBN event back in August. I am in love and I will definitely be purchasing the full size once they run out. I will have a review up when I finish them as well. IMG_3681IMG_3698IMG_3691IMG_3697

Retail Fashion Intern’s OOTD

Hey guys,

So I know I promised a few OOTDs while I was on my week’s holidays but well I just decided to enjoy it since it was just one week. But I am back with an OOTD and hmm did any of you want me to do a review of any of the items from my 5 faves of the week post?

As you all know I have been working since Feb (read all about it here) and  I am loving it. I sometimes just get stuck in a rut and don’t come up with any nice outfits for work but today I was really happy with what I put on. It’s not something amazing but I like it anyways.

IMG_2856 IMG_2862

I bought the One Teaspoon gold Iggy’s in their sale and it is just $5 AUD which is amazing! and to ship to Ireland it’s $30 but it’s fine. Now they’re not as gold as on the site as you can tell from the photos and jeepers when they say stiff on the description they really mean stiff! I have them now for 2 weeks and today I finally wore them. I had to run some errands and jeepers my legs were tired after walking in them. So they’re good to get a work out in!

IMG_2858 IMG_2845

However I think they look so chic with all black and have them as the statement. Hope I made sense. I wanted to wear them with my Toga Pulla Blue Suede boots but they’re not short enough and they’re not good when turned up…on me anyways. I went with my trusty cut out Topshop shoes.

IMG_2840 IMG_2841

I got this stunning top in Zara yesterday with another stunning piece which I’ll show you in another ootd and I’m so glad I got it because it’s amazing and it was just €13 in the sale!

IMG_2859 IMG_2842

I am wearing my O’Donnell Boutique jacket with the cutouts and I think that jacket is the best thing ever invented! It’s so soft and I live in it basically.

On my face I have on Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Desert Beige and I have on my new Chanel lipstick in Rouge Noir which is stunning!

Hope you like this outfit and do let me know what you think.

Leather Me Up | OOTD

IMG_2651

I wanted to wear something that was Saint Laurent inspired. I had on my nude heels and silver glitter socks before I decided to change to my Zara heels and yes my white ankle socks cause I can’t go bare foot especially in this cold weather we’re having. I went for a, kind of, monochrome look with my Zara and H%M pieces.

I got these leather look trousers in H&M two days ago and I’m so glad I did cause they’re brilliant and if you see them in your local H&M get them! They’re €30.

IMG_2637 IMG_2643 IMG_2649 IMG_2641 IMG_2638 IMG_2639 IMG_2640

My top, jacket and shoes are all from Zara. You can get the shoes now but don’t think the jacket is available anymore.

Glenstal Abbey Day Out + OOTD

The Gardens at Glenstal Abbey

The Gardens at Glenstal Abbey

Last Thursday it was a gorgeous, cloudy, day. It was warm so that is why I’m calling it gorgeous.. I finally didn’t have to wear warm coats and a scarf woohoo. We went to Glenstal Abbey and it’s gorgeous there. If you’re ever in Ireland and you want to visit a peaceful place then this is it. It’s a boarding school for boys but it’s also a place where you can go and walk around the gardens also there’s a shop at the reception and you can get gorgeous accessories, soaps, cutlery etc there and my bf got me a Belleek ring there which I love!

We walked for a bit, we first went to the walled gardens and of course there was a good opportunity to take outfit photos. It would be rude not to…for you guys I mean :p

I went with a crisp white suit kind of look yet keeping it casual with my gorgeous tank top from Silver Factory and River Island plimsolls. The trousers are from Mango (I styled it in a previous post here) and the jacket is from H&M which you can’t get unfortunately but O’Donnell Boutique have a similar one here.

IMG_2547 IMG_2549 IMG_2551

I love this look and I am loving the minimal/monochrome trend as you probably have realized from my latest posts. I just left my accessories at a minimum and just wore my trusty Michael Kors watch and my new ring.

IMG_2545 IMG_2553 IMG_2555 IMG_2554

I left my make up, again, at a minimum and I was wearing my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Desert Beige, MAC Kinda Sexy Lipstick and my Chanel mascara.

I will leave you with some photos I took at Glenstal Abbey. My holiday week is almost over (sad face) but I enjoyed the rest nonetheless. Hope you’re week is going good. Let me know what you think as always.

It’s Dinner Time

IMG_2494 IMG_2495 IMG_2496 IMG_2497 IMG_2501 IMG_2504 IMG_2510 IMG_2511 IMG_2512

I went out to dinner with my bf and I decided to wear my Cooperative top from Urban Outfitters (old) and when pairing it with my Topshop Leigh jeans I just fell in love with them again. I wanted to wear my Zara nude heels (finally!) but since it’s still super cold here in Ireland, I had to wear my mustard socks. I want to get more socks that I can wear with these heels as I know I want to be able to wear them again without feeling cold. I had my trusty Zara coat and scarf hich is super warm and big!

For make up I chose YSL le teint touche eclat foundation in BD30, MAC Ruby Woo lipstick and Chanel mascara. I have the ST Tropez tan which I received to review a week ago and I will have that review for you tomorrow. Hope you’re having a great weekend.

It’s a simple outfit and hope you like it.

Minimal & Monochrome

Minimal & Monochrome

I’m loving these two trends and I finally found the perfect off white trousers so I can start completing this outfit for myself. I just kept it simple and also I made it very menswear inspired but with a sensual/mysterious touch.

White It Out

IMG_2441

I am in love with white…white trousers, white tops, shoes with white soles…. I guess I have Tumblr to blame for that. I was inspired to come up with this outfit. It’s a 90’s meets Gothic angel type thing that I concocted. If that makes sense.

I fell in love with the white trousers when I tried them on in Mango and I am so glad I got them (like I always am when I get things) because they’re not as see through as many I’ve tried on (H&M, ZARA etc) They’re €40 and are well worth it. The material is thicker than others and you can feel the quality of it. I guess it’s more of an off white but it’s perfect with white.  You can get similar here

IMG_2451 IMG_2447 IMG_2448

The top I got in River Island for €13 (you can get similar here) which is a lot but it’s still good to have and looks great with anything high waisted. The shoes are also from River Island which you can get here

For jewellery I went with my trusty watch by Michael Kors, my Zara bracelets and my gorgeous Alex and Ani birthstone bracelet.

IMG_2449 IMG_2445 IMG_2446 IMG_2442

For my make up I’m wearing MAC Film Noir Lipstick

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Desert Beige

YSL shocking liquid liner

Let me know what you think of the outfit. Would you wear it or something like it? Oh! and don’t forget! you can get 20% off Motel Rocks (motel rocks items only) with code elizabethsbeauty There are great new items in there and they stock Quay Australia sunglasses! I’m in love with them especially their kitty sunglasses!

Step Brightly Into This Season With ModCloth

Hey guys,

I was contacted by Mod Cloth to style one of their gorgeous dresses and the dress that I had to style is gorgeous. I only heard of Mod Cloth once before and as soon as I went on the website I was intrigued by it and found little gems there from brands/designers I hadn’t heard of. I fell in love with Olivia Burton watches and I’m loving BB Dakota items. I had never heard of them before either. So glad I went on their website and trust me you’ll find unique pieces there it’s worth a look!

But anyways…back to the dress! The dress screams SS14 as well as fun, feminine and flirty. It is something that you could wear to a lunch date or while going shopping. It just makes everything bright and it makes me happy looking at it, as cheesy as it sounds. They also have more gorgeous dresses in their store so do check them out here

Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 22.14.17

I love the turquoise and blue floral print on this BB Dakota dress. It’s very feminine and that is why I wanted to keep it that way when looking for shoes on their site. However, as I do love adding a little uniqueness to the outfit I thought that these holographic heels would suit them perfectly. I love that they will also be comfortable to walk around in if you were to go shopping with your girlfriends all day.

I decided to go with the turquoise bag because I thought it was cute and would add another little uniqueness to it. However, once again, to make it me I decided to pair it with a leather jacket and I picked a white one which would definitely still keep it Spring/Summer and bright.

For jewellery I kept it simple with just a watch, bracelet and necklace. Of course if it is a gorgeous sunny day then you need to protect your peepers and these cat eye sunglasses (I’m still in love with cat eye frames!) are stunning. It will go well with the outfit and won’t take from it.

Hopefully you like the way I styled this dress and do check out their website, there are great things there which are also reasonably priced. Let me know what you think in the comment box below.

Flower Power | OOTD

Hey guys,

Hope you are all good and enjoying your week. I seem to be coming down with a cold unfortunately but I blame the weather…it’s been warm for a bit and now it’s cold again. Boo!

But anyways I wanted to bring a little sunshine with this outfit. The yellow in these two pieces is lush. I am in love with the trousers and shirt. You probably have seen this shirt as well as the trousers on my Instagram but I couldn’t not feature them on my blog.

The pieces are from O’Donnell Boutique and you can get these pieces online or in store if you’re around 11 Catherine Street in Limerick.

I pair these two pieces with my gorgeous Lily jacket from O’Donnell Boutique which you have seen in a previous post which you can see here. If you get this jacket you will love it and not take it off like I haven’t until yesterday. Had to put it in the washing basket as it needs to be cleaned. It is sooo soft though! The trousers are gorgeous and so comfortable. They are a perfect length as well, so if you are 162.5cm tall they will be your perfect pair of trousers. However, I am not dissing ye lucky tall chics out there because they will be equally perfect for ye as when they’re ankle length they are super chic too. They’re gorgeous with ankle boots, heels and coltranes.

Shirt here, Trousers here (all from O’Donnell Boutique)

IMG_2426 IMG_2427 IMG_2422 IMG_2428 IMG_2433 IMG_2431 IMG_2436 IMG_2438 IMG_2439 IMG_2415

The shirt is amazing and it’s not static-y which is something I hate about shirts. I am in love that it has those accents with the black and it really is a great shirt to introduce colour into your wardrobe as well as the trousers.

Let me know what you think about this outfit and of course follow O’Donnell Boutique on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram and Youtube (They have something exciting coming up soon!)

OOTD | Check Mate

Hey guys,

So..I’m back with another outfit post. It’s just a casual one which I put together. I got a few pieces from O’Donnell Boutique which I am going to feature in an outfit post hopefully on Friday or next Sunday (they’re my days off) but I have put one of those pieces on today and I am so in love with it! It’s soft and it’s lined and I love how different it is with the cut out detail at the bottom. It will be up on their website next week and there are only size 10-16 left, it does come in cream as well, so if you like it do check it out!

IMG_2250 IMG_2248 IMG_2247 IMG_2251 IMG_2261 IMG_2269 IMG_2265 IMG_2266 IMG_2267 IMG_2263

I am wearing my H&M checkered print ankle trousers and t-shirt with my trusty Zara boots. I have been wearing them more at work now and my feet have gotten used to them so yay! They’re uber comfy now.

I only have on my Estee Lauder BB cream and Chanel rouge allure velvet in no 45. The rings are from H&M, ShopDixi and Regal Rose

What am I doing in the last photo you ask…I don’t know haha. Let me know what you think of this outfit.
